Silverhawk Families,

As we begin summer break, I want to thank you for your support throughout the school year. I hope your family has a wonderful summer filled with fun, laughter, and special memories together.

Please encourage your child to keep reading over the summer and continue practicing the skills they learned this year. Even a little reading each day can make a big difference!

Most importantly, enjoy this time together as a family, relax, and have fun. We are already looking forward to welcoming our students back when school begins again.

Dear Traditional Academy at Bellair Families,

We are thrilled to announce a new resource to support our working families! Starting soon. The Traditional Academy at Bellair will be offering an on-site Before School childcare program through DVUSD Community Education.

Registration for the Before Care program is now open. You can secure your child's spot by registering online through our Arux portal:

Please note: Traditional Academy at Bellair offers before care only, 7:00-8:30.

$10.81 per day, 4 days, AM only
$11.89 per day, 3 days, AM only
Pick Your Weeks Plan
$60.89 per week, 5 days AM only
Drop-In Plan
$25 per day
Discounts
10% multi-child discount on additional children
10% DVUSD employee discount (taken on all children; multi-child will not apply)
Discounts apply to the student(s) with the lowest fees on the registration contract

PBIS Acronym S.O.A.R.

What is PBIS?

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based, tiered framework for supporting students’ behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. When implemented with fidelity, PBIS improves social emotional competence, academic success, and school climate. It also improves teacher health and wellbeing. It is a way to create positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning environments where everyone thrives. We use ‘students’ to refer to all children and youth in any educational or therapeutic setting (e.g., K-12 school, early childhood program, treatment program, juvenile justice program). Learn more about PBIS in schools, classrooms, early childhood programs and juvenile justice programs on those topic pages.

Our new PBIS Acronym is S.O.A.R. Silverhawks show Safety, Ownership, Achievement and Respect. Please help us to instill these behaviors at home, so we can all "S.O.A.R. to #Extraordinary Heights Together!"
