Birmingham Classes & Program Options
What Makes Birmingham Great?
Birmingham has so many options to offer our students, from AP classes, to CTE Pathways, to SAS college classes, to athletics, and the arts! We also have so many clubs that meet at lunch for students to get involved! The goal of our counseling team is to help our students take advantage of all the opportunities we offer. As we program your students here are all the various opportunities that we speak to your students about.
AP Classes
What are AP classes?
AP classes are high school courses taught at the college-level. These classes are taken while in high school and allow students to earn college credit and or placement in college, if the student passes the AP exam in May. The AP Art and Design program is the only exception, for this course the students must submit a portfolio.
