5th Music Performance at Buddy Holly- Crickets Theater / Quinta presentación musical en Buddy Holly- Crickets Theatre
Our 5th graders will spend the day preparing for their 1st musical performance at the Buddy Holly Hall inside the Crickets Theater. Join us for the performance Monday, December 10th at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the auditorium doors open at 7:00pm. Classes will have their end-of-semester holiday parties from 11-11:45 on Friday, December 20th. Please check with your child's teacher to sign up to help. Parents are welcome to attend the party. Parents must bring driver's license/ID to sign in before attending the party.

McWhorter Families, We will soon be doing one last fundraiser to help the South Plains Food Bank fight hunger during the U Can Share Food Drive. Although they no longer accept food donations, every $1 raised translates to THREE meals for a person or family in need. From December 9th-13th, each $1 that your child brings will allow them to cast one vote for one staff member to get a pie thrown in their face. Your child can also bring change (pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters are all welcome!) to school and the class that raises the most money in change will be the class that gets to throw the pies. We will choose the three staff members with the most votes to get pied at an assembly in December.

December 16th & 17th the Snowman Village will be at McWhorter! Students will have a chance to shop for inexpensive, high-quality gifts for family and friends during PE times. Items are priced from .25 cents up to $12.00 with most items between $1.00 and $6.00. For more information check their website at www.snowman-village.com. Parents can come shop with students after school both days from 3:45-4:30.
