What's new, and what you need to know in August
TEA’s Texas Complex Access Network (TX CAN) has resources to support all educators, even administrators.
To help you prepare for the upcoming school year, we are highlighting our administrator video series and our Administrator Companion Document to the Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities.
While we designed these resources for administrators, educators can benefit from the research-based content too! The video series focuses on effective practices and offers suggestions and resources for supporting educators working with students with significant cognitive disabilities. The Administrator Companion Document to the Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities provides additional information to the original Rubric of Effective Practices for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities by listing the evidence administrators should see if best practices are in place.
TX CAN always strives to deliver high-quality, evidence-based tools to support you! Visit txcan.tea.texas.gov to stay on top of new research and best practices, or reach out to me, your regional TX CAN contact, for support!
