The Weekly Update #4
July 31st, 2025
Good Evening Killam Families! ⛳
This is the final week of our food drive! If you are able to donate any items to support the Reading Food Pantry, they would appreciate it!
A reminder that Grade 5 ELA MCAS begins tomorrow and continues Tuesday. Please help your child feel prepared and confident by ensuring they:
- Arrive at school on time
- Get a good night’s rest
- Bring a healthy snack and water
Mints will be provided. We are proud of all the hard work our students have put in and encourage them to simply try their best!
We are also looking for volunteers and contributions for Teacher Appreciation Week. Your support helps us make this a truly special week for our staff, so please take a look below for ways to get involved.
Finally, a reminder that next week is April Vacation. We hope you enjoy a wonderful and restful week with your families.
Let's have a great week!

The Reading Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) improves the outcomes and wellbeing for ALL students. SEPAC fosters relationships, helps identify unmet needs, and provides valuable input on the development of programs, services, and policies. Our council is open to all parents and caregivers and is not limited to just families who have children with special needs. We offer various opportunities to connect with other families and provide learning experiences for all.
