Principal's News
MES Live lit up the stage this Friday with an incredible showcase of student talent—and plenty of laughter! Our performers wowed the audience with a wide variety of acts, including dance routines, vocal performances, piano pieces, drum solos, guitar numbers, basketball tricks, and even some joke-telling that had the crowd smiling from ear to ear. It was wonderful to see so many students share their passions and talents with confidence and pride. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this event such a fun and memorable celebration of our MES community!

Boston University School Of Public Health
A graduate class at the Boston University School of Public Health is conducting a community needs assessment in collaboration with MPSD to gather information on the health priorities of students in the district. The information we gather in this survey will help the school community to better understand the needs and concerns around student health and set priorities for health improvement. It is important to have the perspective of community members, (including parents, caregivers, teachers and other school staff) in understanding what health issues the community views are priorities. The survey should take about 5-10 minutes to complete - and the data collected will be strictly confidential. The BU students will collect this data and then present a preliminary report on their findings in May. We value your input in this data collection survey.

Library
Last week in the library we read "Extra Yarn" by Mac Barnett. This story is about a girl, Annabelle, who finds a magic box of yarn and uses the endless amount of yarn to make sweaters for everyone and everything in her town. When a greedy Archduke steals Annabell's box of yarn, he discovers it is actually empty. The sweet story helped to enrich our discussions of honesty and integrity.
