π« April Narwhals of the Month
Congratulations to our April Narwhals of the Month! Each teacher selected a student from their homeroom who consistently modeled being safe, respectful, and responsible among their peers. We celebrated their accomplishments with donuts for breakfast on April 1st. Each student received a certificate, and coupons for a free kid's meals from Whataburger and Panda Express.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Volunteer Application
Our Hidden Lake PTO works tirelessly each year to provide important support for our students and staff. If you wish to continue as or would like to become a volunteer, this is your friendly reminder to complete the PfISD Volunteer Application to be approved for the β25-26 school year. Even if you were approved last year, reapplying is required. Good news - Theyβve made the process super easy, with approvals usually within hours. Donβt delay, do it today! APPLY HERE

π΅ Students' Narwhal Bucks Redemption - May 15th
Redemption Store for Narwhal Bucks Earned by Students
Narwhal Bucks are distributed to acknowledge students for making good choices, following expectations, and excelling at school. We have created a redemption cart and stocked it with various items, but we will need your help with continually stocking the store with kid-favorite items. Students will have at least one opportunity per month to redeem the bucks that they earn.
Parents, please consider volunteering to help our Specials teachers run the store in the Gym from 7:05 to 7:40. We typically do this on the last Friday of each month (this is the last date for the year) unless that day is a student holiday. You would assist students with purchasing items with their Bucks.
Any donations can be dropped off in the front office or given directly to your student's classroom teacher.

Students' Early Release - May 21st

Students will attend school for only half of the normal schedule. If you will be picking up or meeting your child, please plan for this shortened schedule and be here at 12:00 (noon). Buses and Daycare vehicles will also transport students home starting at noon.
π Birthday Celebrations
You may send cupcakes, goodie-bag, or invitations.
We do not allow birthday parties with themed decorations, balloons, activities, etc. Students can accept goodie bags and/or food items in recognition of a birthday. Birthday invitations also may be distributed by a student as long as there is an invitation for every child (district policy) in the homeroom class. Parents are prohibited from sending celebratory items (i.e. large balloons) that would distract from instructional practices.
