Message from the Principal
What a fantastic way to close out our first month of school! I am so proud of our students โ their behavior, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn have set a wonderful tone for the year. A huge thank you also goes out to our teachers, whose hard work, creativity, and dedication over these first few weeks have made all the difference in getting our students off to a strong start.
It's Beat OC Week!
This week, all of our fall sports teams take on Oldham County, and we can't wait to cheer them on! Here's how our teams did:
* Field Hockey: 7-0 Victory๐
* Volleyball: 3-0 Victory๐
* Boys Soccer: 1-0 Victory! ๐
* Girls Soccer: 1-0 Victory! ๐
Congratulations to all of our teams for their wins! Weโre going for the clean sweep tonight with a football victory!
Football Tonight โ Time Change!
Please note a schedule update for tonight's football game against OC at the Teal Field. Kickoff has been moved from 7:30 to 8:00 PM, with gates opening at 7:00 PM.
Last week's crowd was absolutely incredible, and the energy in the stands made a real difference for our players. We're hoping to pack the stands again tonight and give our team that same amazing home-field support. Come out, wear your colors, and help us cheer them on to victory!
Important reminder: All children in 8th grade and under must be accompanied by an adult at the game. We appreciate your help in keeping our stands safe and fun for everyone.
Infinite Campus & EDGE Reminders
As we wrap up our first month, you'll likely start seeing some of the first major assignments and grades posted in Infinite Campus. If you haven't already, please download the Infinite Campus mobile app so you can stay up to date on your student's progress. If you have any questions or concerns about your student's grades, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to their teacher โ they're always happy to start a conversation and work together to support your student's success. And for students who may be struggling in a class, remember that EDGE time is available to get extra help; we encourage you to talk with your student about using their EDGE time wisely, as it's a great opportunity to catch up, ask questions, and get ahead before small gaps become bigger ones.
Pumpkin spice is popping back up on menus, college football is officially back on Saturdays, and cooler fall temps can't be far behind. It's the perfect trifecta to get us all through these last blazing days of summer. Hopefully the next update will see some bonfire weather on the horizon!
Thank you all for a great start to the year. Here's to a wonderful September ahead โ and to beating OC this week!

We sponsor and assist with a variety of events including Reality Day, SAT Cake Day, Exceptional Student support, two $500 OCCS awards, Staff Appreciation, Stangapalooza support, Senior Breakfast, student program support and much more.
As you know, we need your help. You can support all Mustangs at NOHS by becoming a member using the link below, volunteering, contributing to our various SignUp Geniuses and/or by simply contributing to our Annual Donation Drive (see below.)
We meet once a month, typically the second Thursday of the month. Our first meeting is Thur, Sep 10 at 9 AM in the NOHS Cafeteria. We realize that time doesn't work for everyone, so if you join the PTSA using the link below we can share our monthly meeting minutes with you. We'll also use our Facebook page to share information so follow us at "North Oldham High School PTSA."
Our only fundraiser, our Annual Donation Drive, kicks off today! No selling, no pledges, no percentages taken by other companies--just a flat donation drive with 100% of your donation going straight to the PTSA. There are two ways to give: PayPal--using the link below--or a check (payable to NOHS PTSA) delivered to school.
We want to be prepared to help all Mustangs--students, teachers & staff members--in as many ways as possible. Your donations & support will make that a reality! Thank you for your continued generosity--we are excited to help make this school year another great one!
