Coyote Dash
Coyote Dash - Thursday, October 1
We're in the final stretch - help us reach the finish line! Click here for full details about the Coyote Dash.
Donations:
Can you help us reach our goal of $35,000 to support our students and staff? Donation collection envelopes are due back to your student's teacher this Thursday, Oct. 1 (the day of the Dash). Lost your envelope? Any envelope will work, just make sure your student's NAME and CLASSROOM are clearly labeled on the front. Online donations are open through midnight on Friday, Oct. 2. Go to MyBooster.com to register your student and share with family and friends.
Event Details:
During the school day, students will walk a lap with their class and tackle a HUGE inflatable obstacle course along the way! Please have your student wear tennis shoes and socks (grippy socks ok, but not necessary). That evening - Thursday, October 1 - from 5:00-7:00pm is Family Fun Night. Bring the whole family to walk more laps around the track, enjoy food trucks with dinner and treats for purchase, and have a dance party with Odie the Coyote!
Volunteer:
Volunteers are needed on event day (Oct. 1) and for donation counting on Friday (Oct. 2). Click here to view details and sign up to help.
The Coyote Dash is co-sponsored by APTCO (Andover Parent Teacher Community Organization).

Health Services
Hello from the Health Office
As we are finishing up our first month back at school I just want to give a few reminders that help keep us all healthy and learning.
Important Reminder:
If your child has a fever, vomits, or has diarrhea, they should not return to school until they have been symptom-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications.
This helps prevent the spread of illness and keeps everyone in our school community healthy.
-Hand washing with water and soap is the best way to prevent the spread of germs.
-Cover your cough and sneezes with your elbow
Thank you for your cooperation and helping keep all of our Coyotes and staff as healthy as possible!

Anti- Bullying
The Anoka-Hennepin School District is administering the annual Student Anti-Bullying survey to a sample of classrooms in grades 4, 6, 8 and 10 between October 5th and November 13th. Our school will be conducting the survey on October 14, 2026
The survey asks students about bullying behaviors they may have experienced or witnessed at school. The results are used to help identify and address areas of concern to make the school environment safe and welcoming for all students.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Mark VanVoorhis Principal at Andover Elementary School.
