Attendance Matters
Finishing Strong with Student Attendance
The last six weeks of school are some of the most exciting—and important—days of the entire year! This is when all the learning your child has done starts to come together. Teachers are reviewing key skills, wrapping up big projects, and giving students the chance to show what they know. These weeks can have a big impact on final grades and help students build the confidence they need for the next grade level. Consistent attendance ensures your child doesn’t miss out on valuable classroom discussions, hands-on activities, and the chance to finish the year strong.
It’s also a time full of fun, connection, and celebration! From field trips and class parties to performances and end-of-year projects, students get to enjoy some of the most memorable and rewarding moments of school. These activities help build friendships, school spirit, and a sense of accomplishment. Every day counts—and showing up every day helps your child stay motivated, feel included, and make the most of these special moments. Let’s work together to finish the school year on a high note!
