April 2026
Message from Mrs. Antoniello
March has truly flown by, and April is already here! Our recent Book Fair was a wonderful success, our Bulldogs had such a great time exploring new books, shopping, and celebrating the joy of reading. A special thank you goes out to OMH&S and our dedicated parent volunteers for helping make this event so memorable. Our second graders also had a fantastic experience on their trip to Barlow’s Flower Farm, where they enjoyed hands-on learning and the beauty of the season.
As we head into this week, we are excited for several fun events, including our Spring Pajama Day, the 5th Grade Garage Sale, and our Spring Parties. We wish all of our students, staff, and families a relaxing and joyful spring break.
Field Day will be here before you know it. Save the date for Field Day on May 20! For more information on purchasing a Field Day shirt, click here.

WTPS Appoints Dr. David Bleakley as New Superintendent of Schools
As you are aware, Dr. Handerhan announced back in the fall that she will be retiring at the end of this school year. Since then, the Wall Township Board of Education has been actively engaged in the search for a new Superintendent of Schools. At last night’s Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education appointed Dr. David Bleakley as the next WTPS Superintendent of Schools, effective July 1, 2026. Dr. Bleakley brings with him over 20 years of educational experience, and the Board of Education is thrilled to welcome him to the District.
