AI Writing Check is a free service developed by Quill and CommonLit to enable educators to check if a piece of writing submitted by a student was written by the AI tool ChatGPT. This algorithm is designed to detect AI-generated writing.

Based on testing with 15k essays, that this tool is accurate 80-90% of the time. For this reason, exercise caution when using this tool to detect academic dishonesty. AI Writing Check is a stopgap tool measure for educators to use this school year until more advanced AI detection tools are made widely available.

To check responses longer than 400 words, you must separate the text into individual sections.

Yippity is a free online tool that uses AI to help you study. Enter the text or web link for your study material. The AI will create a list of questions and answers from the text. You can now quiz yourself to see how well you know the content.

Did you know that Gmail has a feature built-in that allows you to schedule emails to be sent? I use it to send out this newsletter every week. I'm not sitting in front of a computer at 6:30am on Fridays. I will set up this email to send out on Thursday before I leave work for the day.

Click the small triangle beside the Send button and the "Schedule send" option will appear. Pick the date and time you want to send then click the Schedule send button. You can close your email when you are done. It will send whether you are in your email or not.
