Benny Bengal's News Brief

Has everyone been enjoying their new books from the Book Fair? Our Book Fair was a huge success, thanks to you. We put an estimated 2,000 books in teachers' and students' hands, we helped more than 70 students purchase new books, and we raised more than $4,000 for Boggess PTA! WHAT:The winter season is upon us, and we're gearing up for a festive and fun Winter Party to celebrate with the kids! We need your support in making this event a huge success. Together, we can make this winter party one to remember for our kids!

We are collecting donations to help make the party extra festive! If you're able to contribute, please click on the link and find your child’s grade level and sign up! If you do not see anything from your grade level, that just means they have it all taken care of. Whatever you sign up for, please just send it to school with your child on or before December 13.

We need parent volunteers to help with party activities, snacks, and clean-up. We cannot make these parties happen without your help, and your involvement will ensure everything runs smoothly and the kids have a wonderful time. Some grade levels have already taken care of volunteers, but below at the link you will find the classrooms that still are needing help. Please make sure you have a background check in Voly before signing up. Plan to arrive by 1:45 to get checked in.

*** Tips for navigating Voly: Log in to your Voly account first. Once you are logged in, go to https://tinyurl.com/boggessvoly (again). Now you should see all the volunteer opportunities. Under the Winter Party for your student's grade level, click the red "I Want To Help!" then check the box by your teacher's name, and click Save & Submit. ***

We’d love to have you join in on the fun and celebrate with your child! Please RSVP at the link below by December 13 so the front office can have your badge pre-printed and ready when you arrive.

1. Find Henry Dye Boggess Elem School OR Enter School ID# 257242-2501

2. Click “Purchase Yearbooks”

3. Update details & check out!

Families can buy an ad in the yearbook for everyone to see and design a personalized section to:

🌟 congratulate your Bengal on a great year 🌟

🎓 celebrate your fifth grader 🎓

🏫 thank a teacher 🏫

💕 show off your favorite images from the year 💕

🏅 include your student's extra-curricular activities 🏅

👏 brag on your Bengal 👏

🚩🚩🚩 GET A 10% DISCOUNT 🚩🚩🚩

We will need at least two parent volunteers for this program to happen. Volunteers who sign up will receive 10% off tuition for their students. Parent volunteers will help get registered students to the program from their classrooms, help supervise during the class, and assist with dismissal. All volunteers must have a current, completed background check in Voly. If you would like to volunteer, please email Katie Tsai at programs@boggesspta.org.

Benny would like to recognize ALL of our Book Fair volunteers! We can't thank you enough for helping out all week, especially Jaime Brown who volunteered every day, all day during Book Fair. We can't do these events without our awesome volunteers!
