From the Principal
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We highly value your input in shaping our school's programs. Please check your email for a proposal regarding the Advisory for the 2025-26 school year, along with a survey link to your email, to gather your feedback.
The purpose of Advisory is to intentionally develop student connection and belonging while supporting academic success.
We greatly appreciate you sharing thoughts with us. Your feedback is essential in ensuring that the Advisory proposal meets its intended purpose. The survey will remain open until Monday, March 3rd.
Thank you for your time, continued support, and partnership!
Sincerely,

The wrestling season ended last Saturday with the Girls’ Midwestern District/Regional Championships at North Eugene High School, where both Keeva Wilcox and Lisseth Monzon Lázaro took 5th place in their respective category. They represented SHS with a lot of Miller heart, and we couldn’t be more proud of them!
Annual Orchestra Festival
Friday, February 28
On Friday, February 28, SHS Orchestras will host the 7th Annual Springfield Orchestra Festival in the SHS auditorium and performing arts building. This OSAA-sanctioned event will welcome 14 orchestras and approximately 350 student musicians, with schools having the opportunity to earn qualifying scores for the State competition in May.
Our festival has grown over the years, earning praise for its organization and the leadership of our students. We encourage you to take the opportunity to enjoy some outstanding orchestra performances throughout the day. Please note that each performance is being recorded for state competition, so we ask that you refrain from entering while music is being played.
