FUTURE FRIDAY
We should all have a Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C for our futures. We will be talking to you about some ideas. Don't forget... it is ok to grow and change your mind as new things interest you. If you have an idea for a career for us to showcase, fill out the google form attached :)
This week’s career focus is…Interior Design!
Check out the links and videos below to learn more about being an interior designer!
Interior designers are professionals who plan, design, and decorate indoor spaces to make them functional, safe, and visually appealing. They work with homes, offices, stores, and other buildings, choosing layouts, colors, furniture, lighting, and materials. Interior designers often meet with clients, create design plans, and work closely with architects and contractors. To become an interior designer usually takes about 4 years to earn a bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field, along with additional training or licensing depending on the state. Job opportunities are expected to grow as people continue to invest in homes and workspaces, and the average yearly salary is about $62,000.
We hope you learned something new about this career this week! Fill out the google form above to have a career you are interested in highlighted during Future Friday! Thank you to all of you who suggested amazing career ideas!! We'll be sure to get your ideas featured here on Future Friday!
Have a WONDERFUL Weekend!!
