Attached is this week's Intervention Newsletter. October is Dyslexia Awareness month, therefore each week she will highlight facts, resources, and interventions beneficial for all students, but especially our population of readers with specific reading disabilities.

Also, this week she started Intervention Weekly Snapshots, to share with you what specific skills we covered during intervention sessions, student progress and suggestions for reinforcement. You can find those in the attached folder:Intervention Progress Reports

Just a friendly reminder that our first SGA meeting will be held this Monday, October 5th!

During the meeting, class representatives will have the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions from their homerooms as we plan SGA activities for the month of October. We will brainstorm ways to:

  • Spread kindness and positivity throughout our school.

  • Build school spirit and strengthen our CIS community.

  • Give back and make a positive difference in our local community.

Please encourage your class representatives to connect with their classmates before Monday to gather ideas and suggestions. We want every student’s voice to be heard as we work together to make CIS an even better place to learn and grow!
