Weymouth Early Childhood Center
2025-2026
April 19, 2026
Good Morning,
Another busy week here at WECC! We were so happy to see so many families attend our Parent-Teacher Conferences—it’s always valuable to connect and share in your child’s growth and experiences.
A quick reminder that April Break begins on Monday, April 20th. We hope you enjoy this time with your families!
When we return from vacation, we look forward to welcoming you to our WECC Special Olympic Young Athletes event. Families are invited to attend to watch and cheer on our students as they participate in this exciting and inclusive celebration.

Backpack Connections
Teachable Moments: How to Help Your Child Avoid Meltdowns
About this Series
The Backpack Connection Series was created by TACSEI to provide a way for teachers and parents/caregivers to work together to help young children develop social emotional skills and reduce challenging behavior.
Each Backpack Connection handout provides information that helps parents stay informed about what their child is learning at school and specific ideas on how to use the strategy or skill at home.
