Dear Foussat Families,

It’s hard to believe that school will be over soon! Thank you for everything you have done each day to support your child's learning and collaborating with our school to create the best place to grow! Some reminders and updates:

  • iReady assessment continues this week - this is the last test in reading and math for our students. Encourage your child to get a good night's rest and do their best.

  • Please pick up any medication from the health office by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 9th, our last day of school. Medication that has not been picked up will be disposed of.

  • As we wind down the year, please make sure that your child collects all their belongings - there is a lot of lost and found sweaters at the main gate.

  • Thank you for all the grace and patience that you have demonstrated to our office staff and teachers during the close of the year. We appreciate your smiles!

  • A special shout out to all those family volunteers this year. It takes a village and you have shown up in so many large and small ways. We love our Volunteers! Thank you!

Native American Presentation Native American Presentation

Thank you to the Assistance League North Coast (ALNC) 2025 Teacher Grant program!

Ms Thielen received a wonderful grant from the Assistance League North Coast. Ms Thielen wanted our first graders to learn more about Louise Foussat and the Luiseno Native Americans from this area. On Thursdayour 1st graders had an interesting presentation from Cathellen Wallace who is a relative of Louise Foussat and is a Native American storyteller. A huge thank you for a very informative presentation!
