Dear Fincastle Families,

We encourage you to use the resources below to talk with your children throughout the week. This information comes from Lifeway's The Gospel Project curriculum, which we use in Sunday School and Children's Church. The Memory Verse and Big Picture Question will last for the entire unit (4-6 weeks). If you have younger children, feel free to shorten or simplify these into manageable concepts. The Lesson and Bible Reading will be new every week.

Memory Verse: Then I said: Woe is me for I am ruined because I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips, and because my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Armies. Isaiah 6:5 CSB

Big Picture Question: Why does sin separate us from God?

Because God is holy, sin has broken our relationship with God

Lesson: God Made Saul King

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 11

Jerebeth recommends Seeds Family Worship! They have tons of great Scripture songs that kids love. Check out "Ephesians 6 - The Armor of God" song and the rest of their music on YouTube or Spotify.
