AVA Family Update
January 26, 2025
Good morning AVA students and families,
Progress reports will be publshed on February 5. Students looking to improve their grades before this checkpoint in our year should get work in this week. It also should serve as a wake up call for single- trimetser courses for many students, as our Trimester 2 ends in March. With February break coming up, please mind the time prior to the end of the trimester.
If you didn't hear from me specifically this week, there are no MCAS retest requirements for you in February. For 9th and 10th graders, you'll be getting notices on when you must report for Science (9th) and Math and English (10th) before February break.
Guidance and community updates are below as per usual.

Attleboro Scholarships!
Another reminder for college-found AVA seniors: Attleboro Foundation scholarships are open and available HERE in a digital folder. Students must be logged into their attleborops.net accounts first in order to view the digital folder. Most scholarships have an April 1st deadline, but please read each carefully for exact details. Seniors are also encouraged to utilize free scholarship search tools such as ScholarsApp to find matches within the plethora of millions of scholarships available in the US.
