Noble Family Newsletter
March 13, 2026
At Noble Elementary, we believe that every student has the right to learn and grow in a safe and respectful environment. We also believe that every student has the power to make positive choices, learn from mistakes, and become stronger leaders in our school community. Noble Elementary empowers all students for college and career readiness through AVID’s schoolwide focus on WICOR, student success skills, and a growth mindset.
Our 4th grade music concert was a wonderful celebration of our students’ talent, hard work, and confidence on stage. A special shoutout to Mr. Rossi for his leadership and coordination in bringing this event together for our school community.
Thank you to Mrs. Nalepa, Mrs. Beckles, Mrs. Boyles, Mrs. Ruddy, Ms. Gaines, Mrs. Salvatore, Mrs. Holyk, and Ms. Monroe, along with our specials team – Mrs. Doyle, Sra. Romina, Ms. Miller, and Mr. Wright – for their support in making the evening such a success. We are also grateful to our families and friends for coming out to celebrate and support our amazing 4th graders!
Quick Check-In
Noble Families,
As the school year begins to wind down, we know that teaching is about much more than lesson plans and grading, it’s about making a lasting impact on our students. With the warmer weather tempting students to lose focus, your child may especially benefit from a little extra support and encouragement.
We encourage you to take a moment this week to check in with your child. A short conversation, even just five minutes, can make a meaningful difference in helping them finish the school year strong. Your encouragement and attention can inspire confidence, focus, and positivity as we wrap up the year together.
Mr. Walker, M.Ed.
Principal
From the Assistant Principal's Desk
Noble Families,
As we wrap up Week 28, we want to share some updates about student behavior and progress. While last week brought challenges, we are happy to report that Week 28 showed improvement compared to Week 27. Thank you for partnering with us and reinforcing expectations at home—your support helps students stay safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.
At Noble, staff continue to recognize positive behavior every day, awarding hundreds of ClassDojo points to students demonstrating Kindness, Safety, Respect, Responsibility, and Punctuality. We also track referrals and support calls to guide students when needed, and conversations at home help reinforce these expectations and strengthen our school-family partnership.

Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Wynn
Mrs. Wynn was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, where she was educated through the Cleveland Public Schools system. She later attended East High School and continued her education at Cuyahoga Community College, where she earned her Associate Degree. Although she has lived in different parts of the country over the years, Cleveland has always remained home and holds a special place in her heart. Mrs. Wynn enjoys many of the great things the city has to offer, including shopping, attending athletic events, and cheering on Cleveland’s teams. She is also an avid moviegoer who appreciates spending time relaxing at the theater.
Outside of her interests in the community, Mrs. Wynn values time with her loved ones and especially enjoys making memories with her grandkids and great-grandchildren. She also treasures opportunities to connect with family and friends whenever she can. Mrs. Wynn believes in enjoying life and appreciating the people and moments that make it meaningful.
Community Learning Center (CLC) Needs Assessment Survey
Noble Elementary CLC is asking for your support in completing the Community Learning Center (CLC) Needs Assessment Survey.
This survey is an important tool that helps us better understand the needs, interests, and priorities of our students and families. The feedback we receive directly impacts the programs, services, and resources we are able to provide through the CLC.
To make it fun and boost participation, we’re offering a friendly competition:
The grade level with the highest number of completed survey submissions will win a special treat!
Each class within the winning grade will get to choose their celebration:
🍧 Popsicle Party
🍪 Cookie Party
🍿 Popcorn Party
PUPS Community Listening Sessions
The latest state budget has drastically underfunded public schools, and as a result CH-UH is facing at least $5 million in cuts over the next two years. The Board of Education and Superintendent are gathering family feedback to help inform upcoming budget decisions, and families are invited to participate in one of several community listening sessions.
Please note: the Lee-area listening session on Tuesday, March 17 will now take place at Fairfax Elementary from 4:45–6:15 PM.
The session this Sunday at Noble Library (March 15, 2-3:30 PM) remains unchanged.
Upcoming listening sessions include:
• Noble Library – Sun., March 15 | 2 - 3:30 PM
• Fairfax – Tues., March 17 | 4:45–6:15 PM
• Roxboro El – Tues., March 31 | 6-7:30 PM
• Canterbury – Thurs., April 2 | 6-7:30 PM
Each session will include refreshments and childcare on site. We encourage families to attend and share their perspectives as the district plans for the future.

OST Question of the Week
As Ohio State Testing approaches—with testing windows opening as early as April for students in Grades 3–5—we are continuing our Question of the Week initiative to help students build confidence and familiarity with OST-style questions. Each week, students engage with one thoughtfully selected question to practice skills, problem-solving, and test-taking strategies in a low-pressure way. This ongoing exposure helps students feel more comfortable with the format and expectations while reinforcing that learning is about growth and effort over time.
Families can support this work at home by:
-
Asking your child to explain how they got their answer, not just what the answer is.
-
Encouraging them to show their work and talk through their thinking step by step.
-
Practicing reading questions carefully and underlining key words together.
-
Reminding them to check their work and ask, “Does my answer make sense?”
-
Reinforcing a positive mindset by praising effort, persistence, and careful thinking.
Small, consistent conversations at home can make a big difference in building both skill and confidence. Thank you for partnering with us to support your child’s success.
