Hello SES Community ,

It is hard to believe that we are almost in June. It is so exciting to reflect upon all the wonderful things that our students have done and learned this year. We have had students learn how to read, learn their multiplication tables, be a member of the student council and be a morning announcer to just name a few.

Our students have been working on being leaders and caretakers of our school community. We hope all our students keep working on being their best selves as we make our way to the end of the school year.

With that being said; please pay attention to the upcoming dates of events below. As always feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

5th graders travel to MUMS to tour the school, meet teachers, and learn about 6th grade!

June 2nd - Summer School Applications Due

June 3rd - 5th grade Fish Field Trip

June 6th- 5th grade dance - 6-7:30pm in the Gym

June 9th - SES Band Concert - 2pm in the Gym

June 11th - 5th grade Commencement at 10 am ( Luncheon will follow commencement)

June13th - Donuts with Grown Ups -7:30am in cafeteria

June 13th- Milk Balances Due / Cafeteria

June 16th - Last Day of School / End of the year Picnic - 11:30 Lunch starts

Please remember:

1. If your child will be late or absent please call Irene in the main office (802) 897-7181

2. Send your child with proper footwear for school (including sneakers for PE).

3. Students are not supervised outside / inside before 7:30 am.

4. If you are picking up your child at school please make sure to pick them up on the southern

side of the school NOT the northern side by the church.

5. Pick up students from the main entrance only.

6. Students need to bring proper clothing for outside recess.

Substitute teachers are crucial for our students, staff, staff, and schools! We are increasing our daily substitute teaching rate to $160/day for unlicensed subs and $200/day for licensed subs. We had our first games for t-ball Mighty Mites and Minors this week.

We couldn't have asked for better weather and the kids all had a blast!
