PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear McNair Students and Families,

Welcome back! We are excited to begin the 2026–2027 school year and look forward to welcoming our students back to McNair Middle School.

Please review these important reminders:

  • School doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and the late bell will ring at 8:55 a.m.
  • All students may receive breakfast and lunch at no cost.
  • Bus routes have changed. Please review your student’s route before the first day of school and contact FCS South Transportation with any transportation-related questions.

  • Students must use a clear or mesh book bag.
  • During the first week of school, students will complete i-Ready testing to help us determine the academic supports they may need. Please encourage your student to take the assessment seriously so that we receive accurate information and can provide the most appropriate schedule and supports.
  • In accordance with state law, McNair will enforce the No Cell Phone Policy. Any confiscated cell phone will be turned in to Dr. Cameron and must be retrieved by the parent or guardian listed in Infinite Campus.

We look forward to welcoming our kiddos back and beginning another outstanding year together. Here’s to a great 2026–2027 school year!

Thank you for your continued partnership.

Rooted in excellence because excellence is the standard!

Sincerely,

Dr. Keenan Cameron
Principal

Student and Parent Device Handbook

Parents/Guardians,

Please take a few moments to review the Student/Parent/Guardian Device Handbook with your child. The handbook outlines important expectations for the care, use, and responsibility of school-issued devices.

We also encourage families to consider purchasing device insurance. Device insurance can help reduce the financial burden associated with accidental damage, loss, or repair of student devices throughout the school year.

Immunizations

Parents/Guardians,

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, please take a moment to review the Fulton County Schools immunization requirements and ensure that your child has received all required vaccinations. Keeping immunizations up to date is essential for maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. Please verify your child's records and submit any necessary documentation before the start of school to avoid enrollment delays. Thank you for your partnership in supporting the health and well-being of all students.
