🌞 10-Day Countdown to Summer Break 🌞
If students purchased the “2025 Field Day T-Shirt” they are to wear it on this day.
T-Shirts will be delivered to students next week.
If students did not purchase the shirt, they may come out of uniform but please encourage your child to dress comfortably, bring a hat/sunglasses (if sunny), and a towel or change of clothing in case they get too wet due to the water game station.
Please make sure students bring their own water bottles to the event
(name written on them preferably).

Grow Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Skills This Summer!
Summer break is almost here! While academics take a backseat, social-emotional learning (SEL) can continue to blossom throughout the season. This month's Social Work Corner offers tips to nurture important life skills in your child:
Playful SEL: Infuse games and outings with social learning! Plan board games that encourage teamwork or create scavenger hunts that foster problem-solving.
Emotions in Action: Role-play scenarios at home to help kids navigate tricky emotions. Practice expressing frustration calmly or asking for help respectfully.
Family Time, Growth Time: Schedule regular family meals for open communication. Encourage sharing feelings and celebrate successes, big or small.
Community Connections: Volunteer together at a local shelter or organize a neighborhood cleanup. Building empathy and social responsibility strengthens SEL.

📅 Plan Ahead for Summer Appointments
This is a great time to schedule summer doctor appointments. School health documents are due August 1st. Please note that action plans and medication authorization forms must be updated and submitted every school year! ✍️
🏃♂️ IESA Sports Physicals for Student Athletes
Students participating in IESA sports must have an updated sports physical on file. These are valid for 365 days and should be submitted to the athletic department annually.Click the "Health Services" tab on the SD104 webpage for school health documents, health related registration information, and a directory of nursing staff https://www.sd104.us/page/health-services
