Carter's Corner
I’m excited to share some great news with you all! Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $15,000 for North Texas Giving Day! This is a huge win for our school, and it’s going to make a big difference. A big shoutout to our Cheerleaders as well—they ran their first camp at Skyline High School this week and made us so proud!
I’d also love for you to join me this Thursday for a special event where I’ll be sharing our Campus STAAR Progress updates and plans for the future. Plus, we’re opening up volunteer sign-ups for parents to help out with recess and lunch duty—any extra hands are always appreciated!
On another note, we’re looking to apply for some major grants to improve our campus. If you’ve got any ideas or upgrades you’d like to see at Lipscomb, shoot me an email, and let’s talk about it.
Thanks again for all your support—it means the world to our students and staff!
With Gratitude,
Principal Carter

- We invite parents to volunteer and give our dedicated teachers a well-deserved break from recess duty! Our teachers work tirelessly for your children each day, and there’s no better way to say "thank you" than by giving them the gift of time!
- Sign Up to relieve a teacher from lunch or recess duty! (ACCESS CODE: WLESPRIDE)
- You must be cleared through the District Volunteer System prior to signing up.

International Day of Sign Languages
In honor of International Day of Sign Languages (September 23rd), here’s a fun fact:
There are over 300 different sign languages used worldwide! One of the most common is American Sign Language (ASL), which is used by millions of people across the United States and Canada. Each sign language is unique to its culture, and just like spoken languages, they have their own grammar and syntax. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the beauty and diversity of sign languages and the communities that use them!
