Titan Times

Dear SHS Community,

We hope you enjoy the upcoming three-day weekend as celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. There will be no school on Monday, and we hope this extended weekend provides families with time to rest, reflect, and enjoy being together.

As we return, we encourage families and students to come support our Titans at our remaining home basketball games. We are off to a great start in region play and look forward to an exciting and fun season.

As a reminder, activity passes—which were $32 earlier this year—are now available for just $15 for the remainder of the basketball season. With five home games left and single-game tickets costing $8, the activity pass is a great value and an easy way to support our teams.

Thank you for your continued support of Syracuse High School. We look forward to seeing you at the games—Go Titans!

*Testing Information

The state ACT is for Juniors only, March 24th.

*Accommodations

If your student would like to use any accommodations for the state ACT, we will need a consent form filled out and signed by the student’s guardian. The forms are available in Ms. Moore's office in the student center, or you can find the form on act.org, or find the link here. Please have the forms filled out and returned by January 23rd.

Dear Seniors,

As we quickly approach graduation, it is essential that you take a moment to review your academic status. Please log in to your MyDSD account immediately to verify that all of your academic credits are correctly accounted for.

If you notice any discrepancies, require credit adjustments, or need to discuss credit recovery options, please email your counselor as soon as possible. With graduation just around the corner, addressing these matters today ensures you remain on track to walk with your class.

Thank you for your continued dedication and hard work during this final stretch. We are proud of your progress and look forward to celebrating your success!
