McKelvey Primary
May 14, 2026
Dear McKelvey Primary Families,
I truly cannot believe we are approaching our last day of schools. I am so proud of each one of our students and the growth they have made this year. I am always a bit sad at the end of the school year, especially since our 1st graders move on to Intermediate. I could keep them all forever.
Big thank you to all of the McKelvey Primary families. Thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout this school year. Your encouragement and involvement have made a meaningful impact on our Kindergarten and 1st grade students’ growth and success. We are so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside your families and appreciate all you do to support learning at home and at school. Have a wonderful summer!
**RESCHEDULED Superintendent, Dr. Schneider's, Community Conversations at Parkway North on May 28th-- more information below!
Sincerely,
Dr. Christina Brown
*just a note about my last name-- in the middle of the year, I had a last name change to Brown. You will notice my email is different. I tried to avoid confusing the students, but you will most likely hear your kiddos start referring to me as Dr. Brown/Dr. B/Dr. Christina/Mrs. Principal/Mrs. Christina.... the list goes on :) I will not be offended in the slightest if you continue to use Pliske, but I just wanted you to know.
Mark you calendars!
