November is upon us, and it promises to be an exciting and busy month here at the middle school! Gratitude is at the forefront of our hearts and will be our character word for the month. This time of year reminds us to pause and appreciate the people and moments that make our school community so special. Our students continue to amaze us with their hard work, kindness, and creativity. Thank you for partnering with us to make SMS a place where everyone can grow and thrive! Fall Feast

Details: Join us for our annual Fall Feast, a chance to enjoy a meal together and celebrate the spirit of family and community. We’re looking forward to sharing a wonderful meal with you and your student(s). Please make sure you RSVP with this link.

November 13 – Fall Feast
November 21 – 8th grade Student vs Staff Volleyball Game
November 24-28 – Thanksgiving Break – No School
December 1 – Student Holiday/Staff Day
December 2 – Campus Reopens

As the semester nears its end, teachers are emphasizing organization and accountability. Encourage your student to:

Check grades weekly on the student portal.
Complete missing or late assignments before Thanksgiving break.
Review notes nightly to prepare for upcoming assessments.
Let’s keep the learning momentum strong!
