Message From the Principal

Finally!!!! WE. ARE. BACK!!!!

Thank you to all of our parents and community for a wonderful start to the school year. We appreciate seeing all of our families and newest Bears joining our sleuth (yes, I googled the name for a collection of bears, impress your friends with this!). We were able to get down to business quickly and effectively for day 2 and 3, so thank you for participating in our car rider line and modes of transportation. A new scan card called SMART Tag went home with each student this week. It is important that they do not lose this card. Replacement cards are through the district and will cost $3. The cards are scan sensitive so please do not punch a hole in the card. It was delivered with a lanyard and sleeve to assist with keeping track of it. Your student will use it to scan in and out of the bus. Please continue to use the Versatrans My Stop app until the new SMART Tag system goes fully live with the expected date of September 1.

We have the most amazing staff in the universe (yes, keeping it in theme!). Every adult in our building is committed to student learning and growth. We are emphasizing our core values of Legacy, Excellence, Achievement, and Dedication in our lessons and procedures because we know that Bears LEAD the Way! (This is the part where you respond All the Way! Your student can help you, just give them the call-response!)

Thank you for trusting us with your child. We understand they are your most precious resource and we are glad that you have partnered with us in their development.

Bears LEAD the Way! All the Way!

BBE Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Morning Procedures:

  • Car rider drop-off time is from 7:55-8:38 AM. If your child is buying breakfast from the cafeteria, they need to be dropped off prior to 8:38 AM
  • Do not use cell phones while you are in the school zone. This includes the school parking lot.
  • Please drive through the car line and drop off, do not park and walk up. This poses a safety risk for children and also slows down the car rider line for everyone.
  • If you are the first car unloading, pull completely forward.
  • Pull as close to the car in front of you as safely as possible.
  • Have your child/ren ready to exit the car as soon as you pull into the loading/unloading zone. Please have them all packed up and ready to go.
  • For the safety of your child/ren, have them exit on the right side of the vehicle.
  • Please do not change lanes or pass cars that are in the line.
  • The car rider entrance doors to the building are closed promptly at 8:38 AM when staff members enter the building. If you arrive after 8:38 AM, you must park and walk your child into the front office to be signed in.

Afternoon Procedures:

  • Dismissal begins promptly at 3:55 PM. Please make plans to pick your child up on time.
  • Display your child’s car rider number where it will be easily viewed by the staff.
  • Be mindful of staff recording your car rider tag number, do not speed past them
  • All parents picking up their child(ren) should join the car rider line. Parents are not permitted to walk up and pick up their child.
  • If someone other than you picks up your child, he/she MUST have that assigned tag with your number displayed
  • Please remain in line and follow the cars out of the parking lot. Do not go around any car while in line or after your child(ren) has been loaded.
  • If your child needs help with a seatbelt or car seat, please pull around and park to assist them.
  • If you arrive after 4:15 PM, please park and walk into the front office to sign out your child.
  • When picking up your child from the Adventures After School Program, park in the parking lot and walk up to the doors to sign out your child. Do not park in the bus lane at any time.

Student Safety

To ensure student safety all cars must have the 2026-2027 LIME GREEN car rider tag displayed for students to be loaded into a vehicle.

Drivers without the tag will park and go to the front office with their driver's license to sign the student(s) out.

If you do not have a tag, you may pick yours up at the front office.

🏈 MAG BOWL 2026. ONE COMMUNITY, ONE CAUSE

As Magnolia High School and Magnolia West High School prepare to come together for this year’s Mag Bowl, we have an opportunity to make the night about more than just football.

This year’s Mag Bowl T-shirt fundraiser will benefit the fire departments serving both the east and west sides of Magnolia ISD. These men and women give their time to protect and serve our families, schools, and community, and this is a great opportunity for all of Magnolia to show our appreciation and support.

No matter which side of town you call home or which team you’ll be cheering for on September 11th, we are one Magnolia community. Purchase your Mag Bowl shirt, wear it proudly on game night, and help us give back to those who are always there when our community needs them most.

Two Schools. One Community. Supporting Those Who Serve.

Order your Mag Bowl shirt here!!!
