Happy November

Happy November!

We can't believe we're already in November with the air turning crisp! We've successfully completed our first two months of the school year and it's wonderful to see our students settled into their routines and learning!

Thank you to those of you who were able to tune into our Halloween Parade via LiveStream. We loved being able to celebrate as a school. If you missed viewing the parade, you may view it on the link at the bottom of this newsletter.

We also want to take this time to thank all of our veterans for their service, past and present!

We will take time this month to focus on gratitude with our students. We will discuss the importance of showing we are thankful for the special people in our lives and expressing this through kindness and giving back. We also want to take a moment to thank all of YOU and the partnership we have with families here at Fricano. Your dedication to your child's education and support for school makes Fricano a special place to learn and grow.

Sincerely,

Denielle Toth and Taylor Ramsey

Principal and Assistant Principal

If your student would like to extra milk or snacks during lunch, please send in money in a well labeled bag or envelope, or put money onto their account through My School Bucks (click for information)

Please contact adepasquale-Glena@starpointcsd.org for your child's student ID to enroll in MySchoolBucks.

If you plan to have your child get breakfast, please discuss this with them prior to school to make the process seamless for them! If you do not want your child to access breakfast at school, please also communicate with your child around these expectations. Thank you for your help with this!

Make sure to check out the PTA's sign up for our Helping Hands program. This is a great opportunity to get involved and join in your child's school day through our lunch room. The purpose of Helping Hands is to help ALL Fricano students by assisting in the cafeteria by opening various items, wiping down tables, and getting utensils. You are required to be a member of the PTA to volunteer. PTA SIGN UP HERE.

The link to the sign up genius is available though December for your planning purposes. It is linked below as well as on the PTA page!

THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR FRICANO COMMUNITY VETERANS FOR YOUR SERVICE!

On November 21st, we will have our annual Turkey Trot. Look for a permission "entry" slip in your child's folder so they can participate. Students will be invited to walk or run 1/2 mile for this trot. We encourage all students to participate!
