Letter from the Principal

Dear Wildcat Families,

A heartfelt thank you to our Wildcat families for taking the time to attend parent-teacher conferences last week!

Your partnership, support, and commitment to your child's education mean so much to us. Conferences provide a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student growth, discuss goals, and strengthen the home-school connection.

We know how busy life can be, and we appreciate you making time to connect with our teachers. Together, we are helping our Wildcats learn, grow, and thrive!

One Final Push — We Need YOU, Wildcats!

We are in the final stretch of our Fall Fundraiser, and we need every Wildcat family to help us cross the finish line!

Our goal of $20,000 directly supports the programs, experiences, and opportunities that make Wattles such a special place for our students. Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference! If you haven't registered your child or made a donation, NOW is the time! You can donate online or return a cash donation using the envelopes sent home during conferences.

We are so grateful to the families who have already contributed. Your generosity is making a difference!

Let's come together for one final push and show what our Wildcat community can accomplish!

Thank you for supporting our students,

With Wildcat pride,
Amy Wallace
Principal

Fall Celebrations/Halloween Parties

Our Wildcats are very excited for a spooktacular celebration on October 29! ALL parents need to enter through the front doors of the building and wait in the vestibule. Parents attending the K-2 celebration will be admitted into the building (not through the office) beginning at 9:30 AM for the parade beginning at 9:45 AM and parents attending the 3-5 celebration can enter at 1:45 PM for the parade beginning at 2:00 PM.

Tables will be set up by grade level for check-in and for you to receive a visitor badge. Once checked in, you will head down the receiving (custodial) hallway and outside onto the playground to watch the parade.

When the parade is over, you'll head back through the receiving doors and to your child(ren)'s class. Look for signage in the front hallway for reminders. Parents will not be admitted into classrooms through the exterior classroom doors. This will help keep our students safe while parading and parents with a clear view. :)

Students are not permitted to wear costumes that are ghoulish, morbid, or in any way offensive to ethnic groups. Toy guns, knives, or other weapons as part of costumes may not be worn or brought to school. In addition, please be mindful that we have little ones in our building. Therefore, costumes should not be excessively frightening. Please label all parts of your child's costume to avoid lost pieces.

If you are attending parties in grades 3-5, and wish to take your child home early, please check out with your child's teacher. If you have a child in grades K-2, and wish to take him/her home early as well, please check out in the office. Do not get your K-2 student out of class without going through the office. Our littles will be learning in the afternoon. The parking lot needs to be cleared for our buses and typical parent pick-up by 3:15 PM.

See you there!
