Subject: Irish Language Help for Parents
To: Office <office@stpatricksgirls.net>
A chairde,
My name is Jenny from Gaelscoil Online. I founded Gaelscoil Online to help parents with the Irish language at home. Many parents in Gaelscoileanna communities want support to use Irish at home and to feel more confident helping with homework.
Parents tell me every year that I should let schools know about the Irish for Parents Resource Hub, so that you can share it with parents. I’ve attached a short PDF with more information.
I’ve set it up so that every parent has 7 days of free access to the Hub. No card or payment is needed. They can simply sign up, explore the resources, and if they wish, join later. The link to join this is here or on the PDF attached; https://www.gaelscoilonline.com/offers/xLS2fPRS/checkout
On gaelscoilonline.com, you’ll also find more details about the Resource Hub, the Speak Irish at Home mini-course, and the free Quickstart Guide. The Quickstart Guide is short and practical, giving parents an easy start with Irish at home.
I thought it would be helpful to share this at the start of the school year, as it supports parents and would be of real value to your school community. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Jenny

Dear Principal, Teachers, and Staff, Supported by the HSE, CyberBreak is a nationwide initiative for families, schools, and workplaces — designed to help children, parents, and adults of all ages pause, reflect, and assess just how much time we spend online. If you’d like to create, model, and embed healthy digital habits in your home, join our webinar tomorrow evening with family psychotherapist, Dr. Richard Hogan.
We’d be very grateful if you could share this newsletter with your parents. From 5pm Friday, 17 October 2025, families are encouraged to switch off all smart devices, including phones, tablets, laptops, and games consoles, for a full 24 hours.
