Don't forget that School Picture Day is Monday, September 8th through Social Studies classes!

Students interested in HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONS, listen up! The first meeting of this year’s Healthcare Discovery Program is MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 8 at UAB Highlands Hospital (yes, this is short notice!). This club meets monthly, and food and drinks are always provided to club members. Members have the opportunity for leadership positions, scholarships, and to make connections in the world of healthcare at UAB. Get an application and register for the first meeting on Monday by seeing Mrs. Smith in the counselors’ suite today!

• Parents and students can now view unofficial transcripts in the PowerSchool parent portal under “reports”.
• The unofficial transcripts are only available through a web based browser; you cannot access them through the PowerSchool app.
• If you need an official transcript please use Parchment.com to submit your request.

School fees are available for payment on the My School Bucks app or via the following link: https://www.myschoolbucks.com/ver2/getmain?requestAction=home. We are working through all questions received and invoice corrections due to schedule changes. Our target date to have all MSB accounts updated due to schedule changes is Friday, September 5, 2025.

The 2025-26 Course Fee Sheet is located on the HTHS website via the following link: https://hths.tcsk12.us/students-and-families/finances-and-fees. Compare student schedules to the fee sheet to determine which fees are due. Please use the HTHS School Fee Questions link on the HTHS website or contact the HTHS Finance Office at (205) 228-4000 with questions or concerns.

Shout out to Grayson Benzaia and Baasel Al-Absi for using their mechanical intelligence and brute strength to help Mrs. Dimler put together Physics Lab equipment that came in a box with 1,000 pieces. She couldn't have done it without you! You showed teamwork, patience, and a serving heart.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce a brand-new tradition at HTHS, one that shines a spotlight on the incredible spirit and dedication of our Faculty and Staff! We're talking about the Raindrop Car Wash "Leading the Pack" Award, and we couldn't be more proud to introduce our very first winner: Philip Peek!

Each month, Faculty and Staff send out “shout outs” to their fellow colleagues for the amazing work they have done or the incredible spirit they displayed. It is featured in our “The Week Ahead Newsletter”. All the featured staff are then placed into a drawing. One name emerged to claim the inaugural "Leading the Pack" honor, along with a fantastic prize courtesy of Raindrop Car Wash. A huge round of applause for Philip Peek! Also, Thank you to Raindrop Car Wash for their generous Sponsorship of this new and exciting award.
