Kohlberg Elementary Newletter
Week of 10-26-26
We have an exciting week ahead as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week! We look forward to seeing all of our Coyotes participate in this week’s activities as we promote making healthy choices and staying drug-free. Thank you for helping us reinforce these important messages with our students!
A big thank you to all the families who came out to support our Kohlberg Night at Dion’s! It was wonderful seeing so many of our Coyote families come together to enjoy a meal and support our school. We truly appreciate your continued involvement and support of our campus!
Last week, our upper-grade Coyotes completed their STAAR Interim assessments, and we are proud of the effort they demonstrated! The data we collected will help guide our instructional decisions and identify the interventions needed to support student growth and success throughout the remainder of the semester.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we will continue helping our Coyotes learn, grow, and succeed!

PRIDE OF THE WESTSIDE ATTENDANCE CHALLENGE
Let’s win the Pride of the Westside Right Here Right Now Attendance Challenge! by having perfect attendance from October 26 through November 5 and prove that the Franklin feeder pattern truly is the Pride of the Westisde!
During these two weeks, every day of attendance matters. The feeder pattern that achieves the greatest increase in attendance will earn a district-supported block party celebration!
The winner will be announced at the Westside Bowl on Thursday, November 5!
Here's how you can help:
✅ Make attendance a priority every day.
✅ Schedule appointments outside of school hours when possible.
✅ Ensure students arrive on time and stay for the entire school day.
