Good Morning,

February vacation starts on Monday, 2/20. We hope our students and families enjoy a fun filled week. We look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday 2/27/23.

The next weekly newsletter will not be published until Sunday March 5th.

On March 9th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Weymouth Library Room 133, School Counselor Mrs. Costa and Special Education Teacher, Mrs. Magner will present a parent education opportunity at the Weymouth Library. All families interested in learning how to incorporate behavioral strategies (PBS) at home to support your child for success are welcome to attend this free event. This is for parent/caregivers only. • Tuesday, March 14 Early Release Day due to Professional Day for Staff. All students dismissed at 10:45 a.m.

The Weymouth Child Family Community Center and it's affiliated programs are funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care and is administered by the Weymouth Public Schools.

The CFCE programs work to support all Weymouth families as their child's first teacher, develop community partnerships, and provide quality early educational experiences.

Looking for new members! Our current leadership team will be moving on to the primary schools this fall. We value and appreciate all that they have been able to do this school year for our students and staff. Please consider joining this amazing group of volunteers that provide support to our Johnson School community as we will be looking for future leaders for the 2023- 2024 school year.

Parent Council provides many opportunities for you to connect with other parents and become involved in the Johnson ECC school community. Parent Council supports our students and teachers with educational programs, supplies, and more. Parent involvement is the foundation for school success. Have a suggestion or a talent to share? We want to know!

All parents and guardians are welcome to attend monthly meetings.
