Looking ahead to June

June 10 - Last day for Pre-K students

June 11 - 2-Hour Early Dismissal, Last Day for Students

June 16 - HAC Report Card Display opens

June 19 - Juneteenth Day Holiday, All schools and offices closed

June 24 - HAC closes at 5 pm

Ben and Noah help put out and pick up the soccer cones everyday, and they make sure we have 12 cones at the end of soccer. They make sure everyone knows the soccer guidelines, and that we have all the cones for the following day

Charlee asked if she could go to the office to help a friend who was having a difficult time transitioning to the school day. Within 5 minutes Charlee and the other girl returned to the classroom ready to start the day. The other student was happy to see Charlee and realized she was missed which made her feel welcomed at school. The other student was ready to go to the classroom after Charlee come up to greet her and encouraged her to walk to the room together. This helped reset the other student and the rest of her day was successful.

If your student has medications at school please pick them up by June 12th at 3:45 pm. All medications remaining at school after June 12th will be disposed of. Please contact Nurse Dana at 301.472.4800 or via email at drgregory@smcps.org for any questions or concerns.
