Cameron Ranch Falcon Connection
April Edition 2025
Greetings Falcon Community,
I hope this message finds you well! The kick off into spring has been filled with joy and excitement at the Ranch. Our students have engaged in various clubs, showcasing their talents and interests, and we had an inspiring Career Day that opened their eyes to numerous possibilities for the future. It has been heartwarming to see our students thrive and connect with one another through these activities. As we move into a busy and exciting time of year, I would like to share some important updates and reminders.
Open House and Raffle Prizes:
We are thrilled to invite you to our Open House on April 10th. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom, connect with the teachers, and see the amazing work our students have been doing this year. Raffle prizes will be out again this year and we look forward to seeing all of you at Open House, classrooms open at 5:00.
Minimum Day:
Please note that Friday, April 11th, will be a minimum day with a 12:20 PM dismissal. Be sure to plan accordingly for your child's pick-up.
CAASPP State Testing:
Next week, we will begin the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) state testing. Testing will take place during the school day, and it is crucial for students to be well-rested and prepared. Please ensure your child attends school on time and gets a good night's sleep before their testing days. Connect with your child's teacher for specifics.
Spring Break:
Additionally, I would like to remind everyone that Spring Break will be here soon! School will be closed from April 14th to April 18th. We hope this break provides our students with a chance to relax and recharge for the remainder of the school year.
Family First Friday Meeting
We would like to warmly invite you to our Family First Friday Meeting on April 4th at 9:00 AM in the school library. This month, we’re excited to offer a raffle featuring wonderful book prizes! We hope to see you there for a delightful morning of community and connection!
April brings opportunities for students to discover more about their place in the world by learning how Our Features are Important. Educating students about their individual features fosters self-awareness, acceptance of diversity, social skills, personal identity, and resilience, empowering them to celebrate uniqueness and contribute positively to the school community.
