Henrietta ISD Board of Trustees Meeting Recap

The Henrietta ISD Board of Trustees met on January 12 for its regular monthly meeting in the Administration Building. The meeting opened with the invocation and pledges, followed by public comment and recognitions.

Recognitions
Trustees recognized members of the Henrietta ISD Board of Trustees and HISD students for their service, leadership, and accomplishments, reflecting the district’s pride in both its governance and its students.

Construction Report
The Board received an update on construction progress related to ongoing district projects. Work continues to move forward as planned, with updates shared on current activities and upcoming milestones.

Action Items
Trustees considered and approved several items to support district operations and student programs, including:

Approval of a lease agreement with American National Leasing Company.
Approval of a School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) recommendation.
Approval of the district’s book purchase list.

Consent Agenda
The Board approved the consent agenda, which included:

Minutes from the December 8 board workshop and regular meeting.
The December tax report.
Payment of bills.
Minutes from the Clay-Jack SSA Board of Directors meeting.

Financial Report
Trustees reviewed the district’s financial report and there were no amendments made to the 2025–2026 budget.

Administrative Reports
The Assistant Superintendent shared updates on student performance and academic progress, including i-Ready data and the annual TAPR report.
Superintendent Jaime Clark provided updates on board goals, the district’s work through Texas Strategic Leadership, and ongoing safety and security efforts.

Executive Session
The Board entered executive session to discuss personnel matters and security considerations. Upon reconvening in open session, trustees took action on resignations and the hiring of personnel.
