Dear Trail Blazer Community Dear Trail Blazer Community

Thank you for your patience and understanding as our campus and district worked through the unprecedented situation yesterday. As you know, yesterday we were forced to enter a Secure status just five minutes before the school day began. I recognize the immense stress this caused, from families being turned away at drop-off to the subsequent process of checking out over 1,100 students in a single morning.

Navigating a situation of this scale is only possible when parents and staff work in tandem. Your willingness to follow emergency protocols and trust our partnership with Frisco ISD and local law enforcement allowed us to prioritize student safety above all else. Thank you for your resilience and for standing with us to keep Lebanon Trail a safe environment for every

Congratulations to LT Speech & Debate. This weekend, our students stepped onto one of the biggest stages UIL has to offer, representing Lebanon Trail at the UIL State Congressional Debate Tournament—and they did so with confidence, intellect, and unmistakable Trail Blazer pride.Congressional Debate is not for the faint of heart. It demands deep research, sharp reasoning, persuasive speaking, and the ability to think on your feet while engaging respectfully with peers from across the state. Our students rose to that challenge, debating complex national issues with poise and professionalism worthy of the moment. We’re also proud to stand alongside our colleagues and students from Centennial, showing what collaboration, preparation, and shared excellence across Frisco ISD can look like at the highest level of competition. Whether at the podium or preparing behind the scenes, these students represented LT with integrity, curiosity, and courage. Please join us in celebrating their hard work, their voices, and their willingness to engage thoughtfully with the world around them. Well done to our Congressional Debaters—you carried LT to the state stage, and you did us proud.

EOY Vacation Scheduling

Every instructional day counts. Unlike in recent years, student grades and assessments will now be collected through the very last week of school. The final instructional day of the 2025-2026 school year is on May 22, 2026. We know that families often plan trips in advance, but please avoid scheduling family travel before that date, as absences can affect learning and final grades.

You can review the 2025-2026 academic calendar here. Thank you for helping your student finish the year strong!

Staff Shout Outs

We encourage you to use this form to nominate a teacher or staff member who you believe deserves special recognition for their contributions. I look forward to sharing your “Staff Shout Outs” with the LT staff.
