Principal Update

Dear Mason Families,

Welcome to a new school year! It is an honor and privilege to be your new principal at Mason. I am truly excited to join this wonderful school community and begin getting to know our students, families, and staff.

Mark your calendars for our Annual Open House:

Date: Wednesday, August 19th

Time: 5:30pm - 7:00pm

We will open the doors at 5:15pm. Please report directly to the gymnasium where we will begin with a parent meeting starting promptly at 5:30pm. After our parent meeting, families will meet their child's teacher from 6pm - 7pm and receive important information about the school year. I look forward to seeing you all then.

As we begin this journey together, I believe in the power of partnership. Our school is at its best when families, teachers, staff, and students work together toward a common goal: helping every child learn, grow, and thrive. I encourage you to reach out, ask questions, share ideas, and celebrate your child’s successes with us. Your voice and involvement matter.

Here’s to a year filled with learning, laughter, kindness, growth, and many reasons to celebrate!

Placement Letters

Classroom placement letters were sent out Friday, August 14th. Please keep in mind that a tremendous amount of thought and time goes into placing students into balanced classrooms that support both academic and social-emotional growth. Due to the complexity of this process, we do not accept individual teacher or placement requests from parents. Thank you in advance for your understanding and support of our staff as they work to create optimal learning environments for all children.

Required Education Benefits Form

Breakfast and lunch will be FREE for all students again this year.

EVERY child will need to fill out the Education Benefits Form. Please log into your Meal Magic Family Portal to fill out the required form at this LINK and click on 'Apply for Benefits' to complete the form.

We will also have Chromebooks available at Open House for families to complete this form then. Thank you in advance for completing this important step.
