Mark your calendars for New Faces Theatre's production of Scapin, running Feb. 23-25 at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center. Scapin is a comedic play adapted from Moliére and based on the classic commedia dell’arte tradition (slapstick comedy/farce). Scapin (Mallory Garcia) and Sylvestre (Moira Michel) are the valets of two fathers, Argante (Nicholas Harvey) and Geronte (Devin Kenebrew). Scapin facilitates outlandish schemes in order to help out the two young men of the house, Leander (Damarian Green) and Octave (Bryce Stewart). Directed by Mrs. Calderon, H-F English & Fine Arts teacher, it is a story about trickery, love, secret marriage and ludicrous scenarios that lend themselves to lots of laughter.
