Attendance Incentive for January 8 - February 14th
Students with perfect attendance from January 8 - February 14 will be entered into a drawing for prizes! We have multiple prizes so multiple students have a chance to WIN!
Attendance Procedures
3 days unexcused absence - parents will have to sign an attendance contract
7 days unexcused absence - parents will have to attend an attendance committee meeting
10 days unexcused absence - truancy will be filed with the county
Please send in those notes so that we can get those unexcused absences changed to excused! At this age attendance is not a student responsibility but a parent responsibility so please ensure your children are at school when they are healthy!
Valentine's Party Schedule
We are excited to welcome families to attend our Valentine's parties! Every visitor to campus must sign in at the front office to receive a visitor badge. If you would like to skip the line on party day there will be times available prior to get your sticker printed off early. See the flier attached for all the information!
ART Announcement
Baby Wipes are needed for Art. We use them every day for cleaning tables, hands, and faces. If your child donates a bag of wipes (any brand) they can get a sweet treat from me and a water bottle sticker. The more they donate the more treats they get and stickers.
I attached my Amazon wish list if that is easier for you. They will be delivered to our school. Please put your child's name on the order so that I make sure and recognize/reward them for their donation.

National School Counselor's Week
Next Week is National School Counseling Week and we are excited to shower our amazing Counselor - Mrs. Keller - with notes and gifts of appreciation! If you would like to show your appreciation ... attached is some of her favorite things!
We know that she would love notes from students this week!

Reminders
Parent Lunches
Parent lunches are every Monday through Thursday unless otherwise noted. If something comes up in our schedule where we need to cancel, we'll be sure to send it out. Please make sure to bring your ID to get in the building. Families are only to eat lunch with their student, not student friends. Thank you!
Transportation Changes
Any changes from the usual pickup routine must be called to the front office by 2:00 that day in order for us to notify your child's teacher in a timely manner. Please do not only contact your teacher directly in case they don't have afternoon conference, have a sub that day, or happen to miss the message. Contacting the front office helps us make sure everyone involved with after school duty knows of the change.
Dismissal
We dismiss from school beginning at 3:10. Please ensure you are here on time for pickup. If you need to utilize after school child care be sure to check out the YMCA if you are looking for a high-quality afterschool program. For more information and to register, visit https://bit.ly/3SUSDJN.
