Each Board of Education committee gave an update along with any recommendations that came out of the associated committee meeting:

• Policy Committee Update - A PLS Report was provided for information. Six policies were presented for information:

• Policy 3320 School Trips

• Policy 3510 Religious-Based Exemptions from School Programs

• Policy 3620 Extracurricular Activities and Student Organizations

• 4002 Parental Involvement

• Policy 4120 Domicile or Residence Requirements

• Policy 4318 Use of Wireless Communication Devices (Opt A)

• One Board policy was repealed and immediately replaced with a new policy:

• Policy Code: 3631 Live Work Projects (Repealed)

• Policy Code: 3631 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Program Production Work Activities (Approved upon First Read)

• Curriculum & Instruction Committee Report - The Board approved the following items:

• C&I Contracts and Purchase Orders

• Facilities Committee Report - The Board approved the following items:

• Softball Lighting WSE/GHS

• Support Services Contracts and Purchase Orders

• Two Support Services items unable to be brought to the Facilities Committee were approved by the Board:

• Southern Wayne High School Cafeteria Equipment

• Carver Heights Elementary Cafeteria Equipment

• Finance Committee Report - The Board approved the following items:

• Purchase Orders & Contracts

• Donation Report - The Board accepted $12,660.00 in monetary donations and $8,485.70 in non-monetary donations, bringing year to date donation totals to $13,910.00 in monetary donations and $8,485.70 in non-monetary donations.

The Board approved the following items:

• MOA between Saint Louis University and Wayne County Board of Education
