Welcome Autumn! We are all enjoying the change in temperatures! Thank you to everyone that came out to the Volunteering 101 session and PTO meeting on Thursday 9/21. Cafeteria Update
We are now offering ice cream to students in the cafeteria for $1.50. Students in K, 1st & 2nd can purchase ice cream on Wednesdays and students in 3rd, 4th & 5th can purchase ice cream on Fridays.
It is preferred that you add money to your child’s PaySchools account - directions below. If you choose to send cash, please know we are unable to provide change.
LOST & FOUND Reminder
Please put your child's name in their lunchbox, on their water bottle and in their jackets! The Lost and Found is filling up! We will gladly return items to children who have their name on them!
Attendance Reminder
If your child is absent from school for reasons other than a vacation or doctor's appointment, in addition to putting it in Pick Up Patrol, you must turn in a written note telling us why your child was absent. This note will count toward your 10 parent notes for the year. Family vacations require a vacation request form (linked below), and doctor/dentist appointments require notes from their offices.
Picture Day is Tuesday Oct 10th, Move-a-thon is Friday Oct 13th, and save the date for our Halloween Parade and Party on Friday Oct 27th. Details to come!

PA state school health mandates that all students who are newly registered in school are required to provide an updated physical and dental examination report.
All 3rd grade students are required to have an updated dental examination.
These examinations can be dated on or after September 2022. If you have not submitted an updated physical or dental examination to Mrs. Dugan, please do so as soon as possible.
The exclusion date for missing physical and dental examination reports are due to Mrs. Dugan by October 27, 2023 to avoid exclusion from school.
Please contact Mrs. Dugan if you are not sure if you submitted the requisite reports.

Volunteering
A few things to note:
1) Volunteers must have clearances.
2) Younger siblings are not permitted at school while you volunteer.
3) Volunteers are held to the same confidentiality standards as any WCASD employee.
4) While you may see and interact with your child when you are volunteering, you are here to assist all children.
