The Book Fair Is Coming!

Join us for our upcoming Scholastic Book Fair. This is a fun opportunity for our students and families to discover new books while supporting our school library!

Checkout our Scholastic Book Fair website to learn more and keep a lookout for more information in the coming weeks.

Through Scholastic's Share the Fair program, our school community can help ensure every student has the opportunity to take home a book from the Book Fair. Donations of any amount go directly toward purchasing books for students who may not otherwise be able to participate. Thank you for helping us share the joy of reading with all of our Tigers!

If you would like to volunteer, please email mjoaquin@barrington220org.

Help us with our Mural

Sunny Hill is in the process of a community engagement project. We already completed the first two phases--voting on heroes to have on the wall, finalizing those choices in person, and selecting relevant quotes. The final phase before installation happens on April 14! Please join us at 8:15am to meet with the artist to provide feedback on the mockups!

💡 Parent Moves: Silence 💡

Silence. Sometimes our little ones need our quiet presence. They need to be heard without judging and listened to without being interrupted. Practicing silence isn't always easy, but it's important.

Have you practiced disciplined silence lately?

Talk to your little one about courage

The guides below help you have great family conversations about courage. If we don't talk about this at home, our little ones may not know that you value it and see how courage has helped your life. One way to think about Courage is “choosing what is helpful, right, and kind even when it is hard or scary.” Courage can look a little different for everyone.
