Afternoon Parents/Guardians,
Two weeks until Halloween and two weeks until the end of Quarter 1! I strongly encourage you all to take some time to review PowerSchool in order to make sure that your student is where they need to be at the end of the quarter.
Quick reminder as well that we will be having an Afternoon Skate (5-8) and Dance (7-8) on the 30th for GBS students. I would draw your attention to the social eligibility section of our handbookk as we approach these events. It is noted that students must be recieving a passing grades, have fewer than 5 administrative behavioral referrals (no suspensions during the current grading period), and be present for more than 90% of the school year thus far.
The objective of these expectations is to motivate our students in their acadmic, behavior, and attendance to school. If you have any questions, please reach out!
Please note that Parent Teacher Conferences are quickly approaching (Tuesday, November 3 to be exact). While some of you may have already had a chance to schedule a time with your student's advisor, all of you can expect that by Tuesday 10/20 an email with sign up information should have arrived!
If you have not been contacted, please reach out to your students advisor or the main office. We want to make sure that you have time to touch base.
