Ashland Kids Are Change Makers!
Alice Di Micele, special musical guest
Bellview Change Makers!
High School Drum Corps Support
The video is shared below, thank you to 5th grade teacher at Helman, Trish Dorr, for putting together the video. Also a big thank you to the district committee that organized the event, with special thanks to our music teachers: Sage Meadows, Amy Merwin, and Emily Jeffs who organized all of our choirs to lead the music, and to our guest Alice Di Micele for sharing her music and her message about change. The song that Alice shared with us is below. It was a wonderful event! Ask your student what they are going to do to be a change maker at home, at school, and in the community!
Ashland Schools Foundation Needs you!
April is Annual Fund Drive month at the Ashland Schools Foundation (ASF)! Since 1989, ASF has served Ashland students by offering supportive grants to teachers and classrooms for a wide variety of materials, hands-on projects, tools and special instruction. This month, ASF is raising $100,000 for the 2023-24 school year grant cycle.
Visit www.ashlandschoolsfoundation.org today to learn more about how ASF has impacted your classrooms and to contribute to next year's grant fund today. A gift in any amount goes a long way in supporting Ashland Students!
Ashland Schools Foundation (ASF) phone banking nights are back! Please join us April 25th and 26th from 5p-8p at Scienceworks Hands On Museum to help raise funds for the 2023-24 grant cycle. Volunteers will enjoy a donated meal and refreshments while we work together to text and call past supporters to reinstate their support of Ashland Schools. Do good for Ashland Schools and have fun while doing it! Sign up to volunteer today at www.ashlandschoolsfoundation.org/volunteer.

Dear 5th Grade Parent/Guardian,
We look forward to having your family join the Ashland Middle School community next fall!
To make it a smooth transition for you and your child, we ask that you complete the electronic Student Placement form below. The information you provide in this form will help us with your student’s class placement next year.
Use this link to complete this form no later than Friday, April 28th:
AMS Student Placement Information – Parent/Guardian Form
In addition, we will be collecting information from your student’s fifth-grade teachers to assist us with our placement process.
As part of the transition process, we will coordinate with the elementary schools a time for 5th grade students to tour AMS during the school day. There will also be a parent/student orientation night here at AMS before the end of this school year. Watch for future emails with more information and dates.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email us.

Join us on Saturday, April 29th to Dance for Luke!
Saturday, April 29th from 3-5 PM, we will be holding a dance-a-thon for former Bobcat Luke Laurenson. Luke is a senior this year, and to make life a little easier and more accessible, his mom needs a handicapped accessible van.
To raise donations for this project, you can collect per song pledges and/or flat donations. Checks can be made payable to “Luke’s Angels” and will be deposited into that account at Rogue Federal. This is the preferred method of donation. If a digital option is more doable for folks, they can contribute to the Go Fund Me link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ashland-highs-shake-it-off-for-luke?member=23652371&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_content=undefined&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer&utm_term=undefined
People can also make a flat donation at the door on the day of the dance if they would like to join us. There is a pledge form attached below. To find out a little more about Luke, watch his YouTube video!
