A message from Ms. Gonzalez
As we step into the final month of school, we’re filled with excitement and gratitude. I want to thank you for your continued support and partnership. It has been a privilege to work with you and your children throughout this incredible year.
May is a busy and exciting time at Edgemere! Our teachers are "Maximizing May" by spiraling in key concepts and focusing on our most challenging standards to ensure strong academic growth. Alongside end-of-year assessments, we also have presentations, special celebrations and events planned to honor our students' hard work. Please be on the lookout for updates from your child’s teacher and stay connected through ClassDojo, PeachJar, and our school’s social media pages to ensure you don’t miss any important information.
Academics remain a top priority. Our teachers are committed to providing meaningful instruction right up to the last day of school. Please help us by encouraging your child to stay engaged, focused, and present each day. Consistent attendance continues to play a big role in a strong finish to the school year.
Your voice matters! Please take a few minutes to complete the district parent survey. Your feedback helps us reflect, grow, and improve the experiences we provide for all students and families.
Thank you again for the trust you place in us each day. It has been an honor to be part of your child’s journey this year. Let’s finish the school year strong and make this last month one to remember!
Kindly,
Ms. González 💙💛

Book of the Month
Our School-wide Book of the Month is designed to foster a love of reading and create a shared experience across our entire school community. By focusing on one book each month, we can engage students in meaningful discussions, connect the themes to classroom learning, and promote literacy in a fun and unified way. This initiative also encourages families to participate, allowing you to support your child’s reading journey and be part of the excitement at Edgemere! Ask your child about Shark Lady.

Modeling Safety and Respect for Our Students
As we strive to create a safe and respectful environment for our students, we kindly ask all parents to abide by all traffic laws, including refraining from texting and driving. Ensuring the safety of everyone during drop-off and pick-up times is a top priority. Additionally, we ask that all parents use appropriate behavior and language in and around the school, as we are all role models for our students. By demonstrating safe and respectful conduct, we can collectively foster a positive atmosphere that supports the well-being and development of our children. Thank you for your cooperation and commitment to setting a great example for our Roadrunners.
