October Edition

Happy October Worthington families,

The warm welcome I have received from each of you in the district has been so lovely! September was filled with many meet and greet tours hosted by the wonderful leadership and staff at each of the great schools in our district. The care and dedication to each of the students has been such a pleasure to witness!

This month, I wanted to take the time to offer each of you the opportunity to connect with me in a less formal setting and just take some time to chat as a community. Join me via Google meet on October 30th at 11am, and lets chat!

A link is also posted below in events.

Coming up later this month is the Transition Night resource fair for students and families at Dublin Coffman High School. Feel free to stop by the Worthington Parent Mentor table and say Hi!

In the September newsletter, I included a google form asking for volunteers to take on the role of Key Communicators in the Special Education department and the response was wonderful! The first meeting is in November and I look forward to collaborating with each of the families that volunteered their time. More information will come from your schools after that meeting and in the November newsletter as well. A few schools are still asking for volunteers, so please reach out to your building principal if you are interested, but I have attached the google form below as well.

As always, it is a privilege to work with each of you.

Take care,

Allison English
