Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting students’ social and emotional well-being, Carver Middle High School will once again administer the SAEBRS (Social, Academic, and Emotional Behavior Risk Screener), an initiative we introduced during the 2025-2026 school year.
SAEBRS is a brief online screening tool that helps us identify students’ social-emotional strengths and areas where additional support may be beneficial. Students will complete a short self-assessment called mySAEBRS, which focuses on social behavior, academic engagement, and emotional well-being. The results will help our school counseling team better support students’ needs.
The screening will take place during the week of November 16th and again in the Spring.
If you do not wish for your child to participate in the screening this year, please complete the opt-out form linked here by Friday, November 13th.
REGISTRATION FOR AP EXAMS
As stated in our Program of Studies, all students who are enrolled in an AP class this year must take the AP Exams in May. AP Exam Deposits ($40 per exam) are Due on Friday, November 6th. More information can be found here: AP Exam Information 2027. Please make note of the exam dates for your planning purposes.
This Summer we replaced all of the athletic banners in the Middle High School gym. At the August 24, 2026 School Committee meeting, the Committee voted and approved unanimously to deem the athletic banners that were previously hanging in the gym as surplus.
While the high school athletic banners have no “traditional market value”, we realize that it is possible that some members of the Carver community may wish to purchase certain banners that have sentimental value to them.
To ensure that there is an equitable opportunity for all community members to purchase a banner, Carver Schools has engaged an external auction house to coordinate a public, online auction. The funds raised by the auction will be placed into the athletic revolving account to support Carver Middle High School athletic programs.
Details
The online auction will be held from November 1 – November 16, 2026 through www.municibid.com
The auction opens Sunday, November 1 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on Monday, November 16 at 4:00 p.m.
Item pick up for auction winners will be November 19, 20 and 23 at the Carver Middle High School Athletics Office between the hours of 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Outside of those dates & times, contact Athletic Director Kelsey Kincade at: kincadek@carver.org to make arrangements and winning bidders should bring award confirmation from Municibid and cash or check to collect their banner.
On www.municibid.com, banners can be searched for by using the search feature for “Carver Athletics Banner” followed by details about the banner (sport, year, etc.) or search under the “Collectibles” category.
Some helpful Auction FAQ’s/Details can be found on our website at www.carver.org/athletics/BannerAuction or at www.municibid.com/support Note: Before you bid, you will need to set up a free Municibid account.
If you have questions about the auction or item pick up, please contact Athletic Director Kelsey Kincade at KincadeK@carver.org or 508-866-6136
